MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A cold front will bring increased shower and storm chances overnight Thursday into Friday morning. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible along with a downpour or two. The cold front will exit the region by the early morning hours Friday, giving way to better weather by Friday afternoon.

Clouds Friday morning will give way to sunshine by Friday afternoon. Highs will warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s across the area. Friday night football games across the area will not have to contend with rain, as high pressure moves in and keeps us dry through the weekend. Expect lows to dip into the 50s Friday night into Saturday morning.
