A low pressure and cold front are expected to move into the region late Wednesday into Thursday. Enough dynamics, in the long range forecast models, are in place to give our region, the potential, to see strong to severe storms during this time period. Including gusty winds, hail and tornadoes. While the specific details are still being ironed out with this system, we will continue to track our severe potential and adjust the forecast as we move closer to midweek.

Showers and clouds look to remain in place across Alabama for Thursday and into the day Friday all thanks to that strong low pressure pushing out of the region. The good news is, once the system exits the region late Thursday into Friday, we are looking at much drier weather as we approach the Halloween Weekend.
