MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Cloudy skies will remain in place over the area tonight and for most of the day on Friday. Lows will dip into the upper 40s to lower 50s area wide with northly wind around 5 mph.

Friday we can expect much the same as Thursday. Cloudy, gray skies with maybe a peek of sunshine here or there. Afternoon highs will struggle to warm into the lower 60s with northeast winds around 5 to 10 mph. Clouds will start to break apart Friday night. Lows will fall into the lower 40s thank to the clearing sky and northeast winds around 5 mph.

Sunshine is back in full force for both Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon highs will be the upper 60s Saturday with northerly winds. We will fall into the lower 40s again for Saturday night into Sunday morning, under clear conditions and light winds.

Remember, we fall back this weekend. Daylight saving time ends Sunday Morning, November 7th. While we gain an extra hour of sleep, we will see the sunset time become earlier in the evening. This time is also a good time to remember to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and weather radios.

We will see highs rebound back near 70 degrees for Sunday. The warmer air is all thanks to the sunshine. Skies will remain clear Sunday night and lows will fall again into the middle to lower 40s.

Monday we are back into the middle to lower 70s for afternoon highs, which is closer to seasonal average for this time of the year. Sunny skies will give way to a clear night as we push out of Monday and into Tuesday. Lows will fall into the middle to upper 40s.
