Monday is the start of our warming trend that will continue through mid-to-late week. Expect afternoon highs on Monday to top out in the middle 60s under sunny skies and light to calm winds. Lows will fall back into the middle to lower 40s Monday night with clear skies and light winds.

Tuesday we will warm even more, back into the lower 70s with sunny skies and southwest winds around 5 mph. Lows will also increase, back into the upper 40s with clear skies.

Thursday we are tracking a weak front that will push into the region. The front will increase our clouds during the day and also give us a few hit or miss showers in the area. Highs will remain in the middle to lower 70s for Thursday with overnight lows in the middle 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Friday we will see a cool down behind Thursday’s front. Highs will return to the middle 60s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Lows will fall into the middle to lower 40s with partly cloudy skies for Friday night.

Looking at the weekend, right now both Saturday and Sunday will be on the drier side. Highs will be in the middle to upper 60s with lows in the middle to upper 40s. Long range models are hinting at a possible shower late Sunday into Monday, if this front speeds up we could see more clouds and rain chances on Sunday. Something we will watch closely over the next week here in the First Alert Weather Center.
