MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Sunshine is expected to prevail across the area on Monday. Afternoon highs will warm into the upper 50s to lower 60s, which is more seasonal for this time of the year. Winds will be out of the north around 5 mph. We will see a clear Monday night with lows back into the 30s and calm winds.

We will see more sunshine on Tuesday. Afternoon highs will rebound back into the middle to upper 60s, along with west winds around 5 mph. Mostly clear skies will prevail Tuesday night with lows dipping into the lower 40s as we wake up on Wednesday morning.

The forecast repeats itself for the first day of December. Mostly sunny skies will remain in place for Wednesday with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Partly to mostly clear skies will be in the forecast for Wednesday night with lows in the upper 40s.

Thursday we will again see sunshine in the forecast, with just a few fair weather clouds possible. Afternoon highs will remain above average in the lower 70s. Lows will also remain on the milder side in the 40s with mostly clear conditions overhead on Thursday night.

Mostly sunny skies will again be the case for Friday. Afternoon highs will warm into the middle to lower 70s. Partly cloudy skies will prevail for Friday night with lows hovering near 50 degrees.

Looking at the weekend, a shower or two is possible, but forecast models are at odds on timing of the rain. Right now, we will keep the weekend dry with the possibility of a chance of rain added later in the week.

Expect partly cloudy skies this upcoming weekend with afternoon highs on Saturday in the 70s, cooling back into the 60s for highs on Sunday. Overnight lows will also go from the 50s Saturday morning back into the 40s by Sunday morning.
