1 injured in crash involving 18-wheeler near Montgomery’s I-65/85 interchange

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a crash Friday morning involving two vehicles, one of which was an 18-wheeler.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on Interstate 85 north near Exit 1 to Union Street and South Court Street.
Police have since confirmed one driver suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
Traffic was backed up for more than an hour near the I-65/85 interchange, but it has since cleared.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation
